Tom Glavine continues to drink from the fountain of youth and pitch like the days of old. I don't know how long it will last, but I'm sure as hell enjoying the run for as long as it lasts. He may still have a shot at reaching 300 wins after all. Duaner Sanchez extended his scoreless streak for the season to 20 innings in 15 appearances. Julio finished off the ninth with a wicked display of nasty pitches.

Carlos Delgado earned a rare night off after his dramatic walk off homer of Wednesday night. Still the offense didn't miss a beat. David Wright busted out of his "slump" with four hits. Xavier Nady enjoyed a pair of leisurely walks while collecting four RBI's. The first one was 90 feet and the other a little longer. Nady's seventh inning home run finished off the lowly Pirates.

In celebration of another Mets victory, I offer a twelve pack of Latrobe's very own Rolling Rock with it's mysterious bottle labeling.

Man - this is a tough call. I want to give it to Nady, but I think I have to give it to Glavine for the seven shutout innings.
