D-Dad and I saw American Dreamz tonight. It was very funny and well paced, with a terrific cast. Light fun that pokes fun at everyone while offending nobody - just a nice, light flick. I definitely recommend it.

BTW, the soundtrack, written by Stephen Trask ("Hedwig and the Angry Inch") is both a spoof of and homage to the kind of songs you hear on American Idol. It's funny because it's true.

Yes! This comes out on DVD tomorrow. I'm psyched - this was a fun film
