CIN @ CHN

Cincinatti on top 4-0 in the middle of the fourth.

Solo home runs in each of the first four innings from Griffey, Dunn, Arroyo & Dunn (again).

Crazy.

Arroyo is now 2-2 with 2 HR on the year.

And I thought the Mets pitchers could hit.

Boston (5-1) leads Toronto (3-3) 4-1 in the bottom of the third. Run scoring doubles by Lowell, Youkilis, and Stern did all of Boston's damage in the second.

I think the wind's blowing out in Chicago this afternoon.

Top 6th

- W. Ohman relieved F. Bynum
- K. Griffey Jr. singled to third
- R. Aurilia singled to left, K. Griffey Jr. to second
- K. Griffey Jr. to third, R. Aurilia to second on passed ball
- A. Dunn walked
- E. Encarnacion homered to deep left, A. Dunn, R. Aurilia and K. Griffey Jr. scored
- A. Kearns homered to deep center

Do they need to specify that the homers go to "deep" left or center. I'd imagine it'd be difficult to hit a home run to shallow right.

Baltimore leading Tampa Bay, 4-1 in the top of the fourth.

Bases loaded with no outs for Baltimore and L. Matos.

Wiggy hit a solo shot in the 2nd for Tampa. He's currently batting .300 with 2 HR and a 1.014 OPS.

HRs by pitchers in consecutive games played:

4: Ken Brett 1973 Phils

3: Don Drysdale - Dodgers

Cincy's new slugger Bronson Arroyo is now working on a 2 straight. Considering they're his [u:06f9b49e23]only[/u:06f9b49e23] 2 games since coming over from the DH league makes his streak kinda fun.
