No doubt the Mets will do something so should the Mets do any of the following:

-Keep it as is, the lobby of whatever they end up calling the swanky members only club, only hopefully finally label the pictures so you don't have the following conversation: KID "Who is that Dad?" (points to Cleon Jones) DAD "Ummm. Ed Charles I believe...or maybe Choo Choo Coleman."

-A small scale proper Hall of Fame and museum ala the ones at Turner in Atlanta and GAB in Cincy where the HOFers are surrounded with memorabillia, artifiacts and other items showcasing the history of the franchise (or NL baseball in NY if we were so inclined.

-Something akin to Monument Park where it is outside and viewable for the public to see. Either inside the structure or in the walkways.

-Just do nothing and forget the past. Not an option that would go over well, but I can see people making an agrument for it.

Small scale HOF that everyone in the ballpark can go to. Nothing
monumentparkesque for sure, but something tastefully done.

There's so much good stuff, and so much unused room in a new ballpark, it's appalling that the Mets don't just make the walkway from Point A to Point B into a Mets HOF, especially if Point B is someplace they want to draw visitors to (like the concession mall, or souvenir shop where they could sell reproductions of the original items in the HOF). After getting jazzed for 10 or 15 minutes in the HOF, I don't know what I wouldn't pay for a custom-made Wayne Garrett jersey.
