Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Daily News said this morning that Pedro's being targetted for the third game of the season, on Thursday. Victor Zambrano would go on the second game on Wednesday. (Pretty surprising; I'd have thought that Trachsel would be the guy.)I guess that leaves Trachsel for Friday. Does Glavine get Saturday's start (because of the off-day on Tuesday) or will it be our mysterious, yet-to-be-determined number 5 starter?
Guest Rotblatt Guests Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Reports have Petey as working in the mid-80's, topping out at 88 mph. Not bad for late March. Last year, he was in the low-90's, but he hasn't been able to do as much prep work due to his toe. If he can stay in that range all year, I think we'll be very happy. Even when he was in the low 80's at the end of last year, he was deadly. Dude just knows how to pitch.
