metirish Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 No problem with me, if Mike wants to play for Italy then good for him.I know he has talked about that in the past, hell a lot of the players that play for the Republic of Ireland in soccer down the years were born in Britian, some to very dodgy Irish ancestry, yes Tony Cascarino I am talking about you....I wish Ireland had a team,I could think of several Major League guys that I would want..Sean Casey would you like an Irish passport?

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Team Ireland:Um, Johnny Damon, Joe McEwing, Macay McBride, Donnie Murphy (yuck, too many Royals already). Uhhh, Phil Nevin, I guess.
