Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I know we discussed this somewhere on the main forum, but I just received this in the Mets Booster Club newsletter and thought that I'd pass it along -] A Brooklyn Cyclones baseball player needs your compassion and help. He has reached the minor leagues after dreaming of it since he was 4 years old. Jonathan Malo's mother has been diagnosed with colon cancer and other major complications. Jonathan's goal is to sell 50,000 autographed photos at $5.00 each to help collect the funds for her surgery....It will cost about $250,000. She is suffering from a genetic colorectal cancer with complications....His mother, Linda, has not seen him play since he signed his first contract, but she was always there with him for all those years. He would like to help save her life. She requires urgent colostomy, urostomy and treatment for colorectal cancer. Jonathan is a SS with the Cyclones. They would like to bring Linda to Key Span Park to see Jonathan play for the first time. Your Booster Club sent a check to him for $100.00. Anyone who wants to help can do so by sending a check or money order to him at Key Span Park Attention Jonathan Malo1904 Surf AvenueBrooklyn, NJ 11224After the season you can send donations to The "Association Anuvie"Attention Jonathan Malo or LInda Ferland3163 Zieme RueChomedey, LavalQuebec, CanadaH7V 1H7 You can also go to http://save.anu-vie.org/files/index.php?id=16 and follow the directions.
