D-Dad and I rented this tonight. I had read the Hornby book and seen the original movie, so I shied away from this version when it was in the theaters. But a friend of mine (a Mets fan) was very high on it, so we rented it on her recommendation. It was really funny. The whole fandom thing is very empathizable. It's an imperfect film, but we really enjoyed it.
