I'm not sure what happened to Petit in his last start to bring his ERA up to 9, but it couldn't have been good. Then again, didn't Seo have a 12-run game shortly before he got promoted?

I see no reason to hurry Petit. It will be hard to make room for him next year because Glavine appears to be unmoveable, but as long as Glavine is pitching OK I can live with that. Glavine's contract runs out next year, Petit takes over his spot. Hopefully it's that simple.
