Guest seawolf17 Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 THANK YOU FELLOW ADMINS!That was weird. But it did temporarily revive CPF1, at least long enough for me to become Joe Foy.
Guest KC Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Totally my fault, won't happen again (today).Support rocked, actually spoke to two different humans in under a minute.Towards the end of the call he thought he was going to have to restore tosome around midnight Pacific time because was having trouble undoingwhat I did but he must have gotten it to work because it looks like the stuff from this morning is here?Phew.
Guest KC Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 As I said to Edge and Yance in my email, people are going to think I tookmy football home crying and sniffling.
Guest soupcan Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 ...and we're back.I'm starting to get a little schizo.
Guest Batty31 Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Thanks admins! I was a bit worried since I've witnessed many a phpBB crash.
Guest soupcan Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Thanks admins! I was a bit worried since I've witnessed many a phpBB crash.Um, that's not good.
Guest Batty31 Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I told the Edgster yesterday. A worm this past December, and at least 3 crashes prior to that. Nobody consulted me or I would have spoke up earlier. :P
Guest KC Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 I will and have been backing up the database often since it's a manageablesize that takes no time to download. Once it gets large, we'll set up a sch-dule so that each admin does it regularly maybe at different times of the day.I don't think this will be an issue.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Wish they wouldn't throw around "critical" so freely.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Thanks! Now I gotta go back and get all my good Dany Graves work from over there and post it here.
Guest KC Guests Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Batty31, you're not, nah, couldn't be .... are you?
