G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2025 Posted July 24, 2025 Bill Denehy, our 1967 pitcher whose name endures among Mets fans thanks to who he shared a rookie card with (Tom Seaver) and the manager he helped bring back in trade (Gil Hodges), died on June 27 at the age of 79. His friend Jeff Kaliman remembers him in the IBWAA newsletter.
