ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 The Mets need to occupy the win column todaySame amount of wins as the Reds two less losses makes the Mets 1 up
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Jeff McNeil is resting a sore shoulder that has been bothering him per GKRLGM! LGM! LGM!LGM! LGM!LGM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Lindor starts things off quickly, and Gore can cry if he wants to.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Thought it was a 4:10 start but they went all 4:05 on me. Fortunately I literally turned on the set seconds before first pitch.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Nice start for Manaea: K, LO-7, K --- K, K, K
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Manaea looks greatMarte with a homer in someone's absence
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Nimmo Alvarez and McNeil are hurt and you get guys like Marte Vientos and Baty stepping upBay-tee bopper
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Senger with a big opportunity hereSac fly, well done!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Just like that Manaea is in it deep in the 4th
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 That was almost painless 3-1HBP to Adams didn't open the floodgates
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 And the 4th inning issues continue even with the opposition doing much hitting: K/PB, F-7, soft single, HBP, weak ground out/RBIBut Manaea gets the 3rd out so just one run. Could have been better, but smelled like it was going to get worse for a minute there.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Holy crap! I was walking the dog and I missed Senger's first RBI!!Was it great?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 An important sacrifice fly. Professional
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Alonso tries hard to make big plays. Like he can't help himself.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Mets are walking a fine line last inning and now
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 (edited) Jeeeez! If we're going to lose to bad teams can we at least make them hit in order to do it?In each of the last two innings the Nats have loaded the bases with/one out on just one single in each. kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Game feels like it's about to unravel rather quickly.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Manaea has been disappointing in 2025
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 22 pitches for Manaea thru the first two innings. But 69 more for innings 3, 4, and an incomplete 5th
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Well, Manaea could have done that, Tyler.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Author Posted August 21, 2025 Mullins has a weak arm out thereStearns trade deadline gets suck
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Nats: four runs on four hits, all singles. But we threw in a walk, two HBPs, a K/PB, and a really bad decision by Pete.
