Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 The HRs are nice, dudes, but now you're back to inventing ways to not score.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Oh the ole strike him out pick him off magic. Mets are still winning, but not comfortably...

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Yeah, Peterson is kinda being a monster out there.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Second straight day that Acoonie has been wearing that bandage on his face. I don't know if he has a pimple, had a wart removed, or just got a painful cystic zit, but they have bandages for all skin tones now.Even in 2025, you just can't get the good stuff on the road.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Great day for Marte if you don't count — you know — ending a rally by getting badly picked off third.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Peterson has been an ace todayScore more runs!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I saw a Kansas City A's game in 1967.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Ed Charles wasn't merely a Kansas City Athletic. He was probably the highest achieving player in the history of the Kansas City Athletics.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Apparently, Garrett can actually give up a run.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Inventing ways to not score and inventing ways to not get outs.I think Baty was afraid of throwing the ball too early so that was the cause of the double clutch. Then, when the runner didn't stop and/or reverse course, he rushed the throw and short-hopped Alvarez.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 The Dodgers who no one to hit for Conforto?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Conforto may be stinking it up, but you can't just open with a get-it-over fastball to him.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Through May 22, 2024, Reed Garrett had a 1.04 ERA. He melted down on May 24 and from that point forward, his ERA was 6.03.I think we just saw 2025's version of that.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Bottom of the order in the bottom of the eighth. Taylor, Baty, Álvarez, Acoonie.Lindor, Mauricio, Torrens, and Young on the bench.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I went out for a 10 minute walk and all hell breaks out in LA
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 The Mets have quite a few young guys that don't hit much. Add Tyrone Taylor to that and it doesn't get better
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Cockpunch lossOn to Quincy ME and NBA Finals
