Also, the Mets didn't lose Wilmer to Free Agency so much as they made him a FA by non-tendering him with one season of club control remaining. It's not like there was a bidding war where the Mets came up 350K short (850 when the option buyout is figured in). Likely they estimated what he might make in arbitration and chose to pass on that number seeing as how Dom was already on the roster with Pete waiting in the wings as better options.

Braves stomped all over Boston 10 - 4 and took two out of the three game series



Nats also beat Baltimore 10 - 4 for the three game sweep



Phils beat Skenes and the Buccos 1-0 today and swept that series.

Skenes wound up with a CG 3-hitter but two of those hits came in the 5th and the first of those came in to score when Pitt couldn't turn an inning-ending DP



Marlins took two fo three from Tampa





So it would be real nice if we could take this one tonight and not lose one, one, two, and two games to our division opponents all in one weekend.
