As far as I can tell, Brandon Sproat was the only Futures Game participant from the Mets organization, but he repped well, giving up no hits and no walks in his inning, in the 6-1 victory for the National League representatives over the American League hopefuls. Sproat's second batter reached on an error but was quickly erased on an inning-ending double-play.



I guess that US-vs.-the-world format was starting to seem a bit jingoistic.
