Probably the latter.



The Post's covers are often too noisy and cluttered for my taste. (And the Post generally performs poorly in this competition.) The Newsday cover is nice and clean, but it's not at all vibrant and suffers from featuring an unrecognizable player.

I voted late (which means that I might lose my Fast Pass for the Derby HQ Tour) and voted for the Newsday cover, not because it has Josh Walker but because I like simplicity in comparison to the "mess" in The Post cover which has a great picture but almost decapitated Nimmo.
