My main memory of him was that he had his worst outing erased when the Mets were granted a win in that discontinued game against Miami.



This allowed Buck to add a win to his Mets (and career) win totals while not actually being employed by the team any longer.

I fondly remember Kay making his triumphant return years after he was sent packing. It was actually kind of cool getting him back and having him pitch a little, since he was a first rounder, after all. But outside of that, I'm not too bummed to see him go.
