Spotted giving Pete Alonso some skin in the dugout was new Mets coach Jemile Weeks. Wearing #77, Weeks is a former Major Leaguer (260 games from 2011 to 2016 with Oakland, Baltimore, Boston, and San Diego), more generally employed as a Mets roving instructor, but has joined the team as part of the September Coaching Expansion Program (SCEP). Longtime Brewer Rickle Weeks is his brother.



Still only 35, it's not often that you got a guy on your coaching staff built like your designated pinch runner.
