Just thought I'd alert all yuz that this should be the 1966th thread in the Baseball Forum so some sharp-eyed CPFer should be careful to start a thread three threads down the line celebrating the 1969 squad, and further down the line, the 1986 team.





Or maybe not. This might be too obsessive even for Met fans, but for me the numbers "1969" and "1986" will always bear a special, almost holy, significance.
