Jim Bowden, writing for "The Athletic", picks his so far All Stars for this year's game, to be played at Dodgers Stadium. He has four Mets on the NL squad': Alonso, Lindor, Nimmo and Scherzer, none as starters and Max as an injured pick. And he has McNeil and Diaz in his just missed category. Nice haul if it pans out. And he notes that Alonso could be voted in as a starter even though Goldschmidt is the NL MVP right now.
