No hitter still going but Greene pulled with 1 out in the 8th after consecutive walks and nearing 120 pitches.

Still a scoreless tie.

Pittsburgh scores without a hit. Cincinnati might end up losing.

And the Reds throw a (8 inning) no-hitter... and lose 1-0 to the Pirates.

Speaking of winning while (almost) getting no hit, the Yanx beat the ChiSox 5-1 today on only two hits.



* 2nd inning with 2 out and bases empty they went walk, single, walk, walk ®, walk ®, wild pitch ®



* 9th inning, AGAIN after 2 outs and none on: Walk, HR





Shyeeet Chicago, at least make them work for it!

On a more positive note, after leading the entire game and staring at a sweep of a four game series in LA, the Phillies cough up three runs w/2 outs in the 9th and get walked off (and walked on).



So at least the rest of the NL East lost today as well.

So, y'know, there's that.
