Phils @ Nats rained out for the second night in a row.

Wednesday is already sked as a DH to make up for Monday, but now they'll need good weather tomorrow AND an extra game down the line.

The Nats still managed to lose anyway and Max Scherzer, screwing around during BP, bunted one off his own nose and came out with a broken schnozz.

He was supposed to start one of the Wednesday games.

Travis d'Arnaud currently employing his .267 OBA (.304 as a TBR) as Tampa's lead-off hitter.

So far it's just last night and again this afternoon (DGANG no less) but it's an interesting choice regardless.

And by 'interesting' I mean, WTF?!?



'twould be real nice if Tampa chose today as a good time not to SUCK again.

They've scored just 3 runs combined in the first two games of this series which has dropped them 2.5 games out of 1st.

Nor did it help that his replacement promptly went bases-loaded-HBP, Pop-out, 2R-1B, but there's no excuse for the walks

Nats beat Philly in the first of two and the first game they've been able to play in three days.

Last I heard, Scherzer is expected to pitch tonight despite his busted schnozz from yesterday's BP bunting accident.

Not only is Scherzer pitching with a busted nose from yesterday but he now also has a black eye to go along with his blue one and his brown one.

And he's also got a 2-hitter w/10 Ks in the 7th

And now it's the fucking Astros turn to suck!!



10-6 losers yesterday (and it wasn't that close - a couple of garbage runs after it was 10-3 in late innings) tonight they've scored once despite several leadoff runners on and just left two on to end the game (4-1 final).

That's now 5-0 vs TBR & HOU this week. Yanx were playing the weak sisters of the poor early in the season, but not now.









Nats beat the Braves 4-3 tonight in Keuchel's 2019 debut.



Marlins leading the Phils 2-1 in top 9 in Philly ... P.S.: how is a 2-1 game not yet finished 3 hours and 10 minutes in?!?
