Bob Klapisch, most recently of The Bergen Record and more famously of both The New York Post and The Daily News, is about as textbook a definition of tabloid sportswriter there be. Well, he's leaving that game for the broadsheets, announcing that he's gone to work for The New York Times.



He'll be covering both the Mets and the Yankees with The Gray Lady. Fun Fact: Bob is half-Brazilian and speaks Portuguese fluently. Don't tell ICE.
