Kudos to the Post, that's a pretty nice cover. Photo, headline, composition all came together pretty well.

The Snooze cover has a worse picture and Fraze's elbow interferes with how hard the pun hits.

Also, this cover reminds me of how aesthetically unpleasing Frazier's swing is.

I went with Todd. Sweep is a better picture but it's too small and shared with the MFYs and the NHL.

We now have our first winner from the Third Round, and it's SWEEP SNAKES from the New York Post. The voting wasn't quite a sweep, as TODD COUPLE got a little bit more than a couple of votes. The Post had only two of the 22 covers that emerged from the first round, but it's been slowly overcoming the initial steep odds, and it becomes the first of our publications this year to place a cover in the Elite Eight.

The other Post cover, GSELL THE MAN! is also still alive and well, and is the potential opponent for SWEEP SNAKES in Round Four.
