Montero and Evans opting for free agency, so they could be back.https://metsmerizedonline.com/2018/11/montero-evans-callahan-become-free-agents-as-mets-trim-roster.html/?fbclid=IwAR0CLb3qVualuOdVwLVXsdcQfd0i9WZUCm16qwzHbvU6jiw5OipTyPF2Qs0

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Rhino's best game was his last, coming in for a hamstrung Brandon Nimmo in that long extra-inning excursion in the penultimate game. He ended up having a Nimmo of a game, going 1-1 with two walks in a game the Mets ultimately won 1-0 in 16 innings. He even stole the first, and thus far only, base of his career, off of future-Mets catcher Bryan Holaday.
