Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 A two-game Yanx/Sawx series to be played in London is now set for June 2019. Somehow the Sox agreed to be the 'home' team for both games leaving the Fenway faithful with just 79 actual home games next year.It may be a nice idea and I understand why those two teams are getting the honor, but one can also question the wisdom of inviting teams that are going to cause the cricket fans over there utter; "I say, why is this game taking so bloody long?"This MLB/London agreement also calls for another series to be played there in 2020 although the participating teams have yet to be determined (or they've been determined and are being kept secret).Maybe the ROYALS should go and play against the RED(coat)S.
