="Beenso"]Zvon........it is a NL league and Jacobs is available at catcher so it ends up being good considering Ramon Hernandez was my catcher...That would have been a good pickup 4 ya.I managed to get Pudge Rod and Piazza on my team in both leagues, and I was able to use Piazza at 1st. But I really very rarely have, or used him as catcher as well. Its so hard to fill in for your catcher when he has his off day. Even though PudgeRod was gettin Sundays primarily the 1st half. trying to back up your catchers off day every week will drive you absolutely crazy tho. Im living proof. Ive been trying all season.*Zvon runs across the room and jumps out the window*~~~~~~~~~(I am thinking of dropping Piazza(DL) now. Probly wont tho. Already brought up that Cubs catcher for the spot.My Met loyalty factor costs me sometimes. But I dont mind. Sometimes Id just rather have players I tend to be watching anyway..Between the two teams I have Reyes,Wright,Piazza, Benson. had Galvine, dropped him be4 the break)Padres take the lead over Houston 2-1 in the 3rd, and have a man on 3rd and 1 out

Jacobs again!Wowzers.You see!?the kids hungry to stay up. Hes focused.His bat is an unknown and the opposition will have to figure out how to pitch the kid. Ruff inning. Could have been worse. 3 hits, 1 run.Glavines up to 98 pitches thrown.He did get a fastball (to green) up to 88 mph this last inning.Time for the bullpen to do their job.

You cant deny what they have done championshipwise over the last hundred years.But when you look at baseball history, for the relatively short time the Mets have played the game they have a rich history, with afew of the top moments in baseball this whole past century. growin up my best buddy was a yankee fan. It was apples and oranges. Course, the Yanks were going thru some lean yrs then and this was before their re-emergence. but there wasnt this animosity between Met and Yankee fans then, and there shouldnt be today.
