I assume they would be looking to leverage the value of that talent and spark. I didn't say dump but you rarely ever receive equitable value in return. You'll receive prospects you hope will manifest into talent. For once, I'd like to see a talented everyday player come up, hit their prime and grow old in a Mets uniform. That occurrence is way too infrequent.
