  1. Willie's gonna want Ledee, but Omar will shut him down. No WAY is Milledge making the postseason roster.
  2. He's been with us for a while, but let's face it, the rotation is getting old, and Trax is standing in the way of a Pelfrey or an Oliver Perez being in the rotation full-time. He's still serviceable, but let him go after this year.
  3. Reyes - 3 Wright - 1 Ring - 1 Valentin - .5 Bradford - .5
  4. He looks more like Herman Munster than he does John Rocker.
  5. Is Mark Hendrickson the long-lost son of John Smoltz? I could be... That's my boy!
  6. Finally, a chance to use this!
  7. PUT IN FUCKING HUMBER!!!
  8. Oh come ON!!!
  9. STOP GIVING UP TRIPLES!!!
  10. Why is Dookie's photo so off-center?
  11. Ok, one more inning. THEN HUMBER!!!
  12. What is going on here??? WE WANT HUMBER!!!
  13. Now we gotta get Nomah out.
  14. Stop letting dudes steal!!!
  15. Oh geez.
  16. Bannister's pitching now.
  17. Hold on, whoa whoa whoa. Despite the name, Cleveland's AAA team is not the Indianapolis Indians.
  18. Even if we were the home team? Suppose one of the multiple players vying for #800 comes out of the game with a freak injury in the top of the first while playing in the field. Would they not count, even though they obviously took the field as a Met?
  19. The guy in the background on the right in the third picture looks very perplexed by what he's holding.
  20. Now consider this: If more than one new face trots out onto the field in the first inning on Opening Day next year, who would we consider the 800th Met?
  21. I'm answering my own question. I found the game the Gary Carter Ivory Soap commercial came from: September 17, 1986. Mets win, 4-2 against the Cubs. Dennis Eckersley leaves after 4.1 innings down 3-0, with Guy Hoffman replacing him.
  22. Oh wow... I haven't seen that since I was a toddler!
  23. Huh? We played already? I missed it... I was at GW Fall-Fest.
  24. What on earth is the beer poll?
  25. Eh??? What happened to the ten-point rule?
