  4. CB Bucknor is the guy.
  5. So, Phillies bullpen, guys!
  6. Get the two big hitters and give up a hit to the .215 guy.

  8. Soft hits > Hard outs
  9. Aside from having a name that his family must've selected during a period when cultural mores against racism were more relaxed, Coonrad seems like he's been hammering Red Bull for about two and a half hours.
  10. =bmfc1 post_id=78103 time=1631929484 user_id=73] The non-reversal costs a run.
  11. Watching Joe Girardi fight is like watching a 1920s film.
  12. Credit to the fans. I was dead wrong about boobirds taking the house.
  13. I'm certain that I don't need to be informed by you whether or not I'm up for a particular job, ceetar. I promise you that I had no intention of provoking.
  14. At one point in the opening eppysode, a shot was included of a early Darryl Strawberry home run at Three Rivers Stadium (I think — it might have been an early Keith Hernandez double). As the Pirates center fielder turned hoping to play the ball off of the fence, Edgewife asks, “Wow, could his pants be any tighter?” Of course it was Lee Mazzilli.
  15. Also a good reminder that we've got to get Spanish-language broadcasters into the IMDB.
  16. Good job remembering the Mase, but blessedly, he never left the organization, clearing waivers upon his demotion and battling to this day as a Syracuse Met outfielder. That guess will nonetheless cost you a point, because the world is fickle and miserly. 17. If we need a source to say that Cohen's tweets are counterproductive and embarrassing, I'm happy to be that guy. Heck, I'll even put my name on the record. I've expressed my doubts about the notion that it will steer good candidates away from the organization, but I'm more concerned whether the organization will be attracted to good candidates.

  19. Number two is a sidearmer who pitched mopup in two lopsided losses — throwing an inspiring inning against Colorado at Coors, and then a disastrous one the next week against the Cubs. The Giants put him through waivers also, and neither the Mets nor anybibby else grabbed him back.
  20. 8. Nick Tropeano? That's embarrassing when Gwreck beats seawolf to the Seawolf! Trope's a Dodger and a teammate of Billy McSkinney. Three points for the G! 1. Bench mob Sammy Jake Hager with the Dbacks You folks may want to look into what dark Magic ashie is using, because he's almost got this victory tucked under his pillow. I suspect performance enhancing drugs (of which, cocaine is totally one) are involved. Jake Hager_________ Put through waivers by the Mets and claimed by Milwaukee. 23. I've just started, and they got me hook, line, and sinker when they played "Clap Hands" over the opening credits. Hardly the tone of victory, but I was playing the hell out of that record as the Mets juggernaut tore through the summer.
  24. I got no problem with dinos. I'm a big Flintstone fan.
  25. Chad ochoseis wrote: 1. Mallex Smith Mallex sadly never became a Met. After failing to make the team out of Spring Training, he invoked his right to become a free agent rather than accept a Syracusan assignment. When the Mets outfield health collapsed like a Jenga tower, this proved less than prescient. A Boy Named Seo wrote: 9. Cameron Maybin Mayday, on the other hand, appeared for the Mets but never left the organization. After being DFA'd, he was sent through waivers, and despite his 15 years of experience, other organizations were a little creeped out by his .036 batting average (and .036 slugging percentage!) as a Met. He cleared waivers and joined Syracuse before getting hurt in July. He only just recently re-appeared on the rehab circuit with St. Lucie. __________________ Put through waivers by the Mets and claimed by Milwaukee.
