  1. Young had an error, so my PotG is going to be Polanco. For the first time this year, I'm pretty sure.
  2. "Take Me Home, Country Roads" : Progressive Field :: "My Girl" : Citi Field
  3. Well, Baty could've done that. Bad night in the field for the Metsicles.
  4. The same fielder who interfered with Ewing interfered with the defender chasing him.
  5. Genao having a debut for the ages, and his idol Lindor looking like somebody has magically stolen his skillz.
  6. There's Ewing's offensive makeup play. He would have jogged into third if that ball hadn't hopped the fence.
  7. Strong dee would have helped tonight, but a lot of hits have been finding grass in front of the outfielders.
  8. Ge-nao! Ge-nao-na-nao! Sing this corrosion to me!
  9. They pulled him, but instead of sending in Robert, they went for Christian Pache. Mets debuts are breaking out all over!
  10. Still kind of early, but they probably ought to get Baty out of left after that trip to the plate.
  11. He made a meal of it, but got there in the end.
  12. Yan gets an even tighter spot to debut in than Lavender.
  13. It's getting embarrassing when Keith responds to Gary by repeating what Gary said, as if he caught the subject, but wasn't paying attention enough to pick up the full thought. GARY: "As it happens, Ohtani and Crow-Armstrong are the leading candidates for the MVP." KEITH: "Well, Pete Crow-Armstrong is really putting himself in MVP consideration." He got saved that time by Benge hitting a homer.
  14. mlb.tv has been giving me some bizarre ads for a product called Kalshi. None of these ads made any sense and I had no idea what I was being sold. So, I looked them up and learned they were an online prediction gambling company, and the ads still don't make any sense and I still don't really get what I'm being sold.
