All roads lead to Volpe. He just kind of lollygagged it and let the ball play him a little, but where the hell was Verdugo playing? I realize that he broke in initially, but he seemed like he must've been playing much too shallow to begin with. The ball landed pretty much where a standard leftfielder would be positioned and he wasn't anywhere near it when it fell in.
