    Christ 49. Bobby Bonilla. As I said in the walk-up to this special, if you played more than two seasons you�re probably on the list. Luckilly Bobby�s part of the special was shorter than it took you to read this sentence. I caught a snippet of this and the narrator is the guy that did all those VH1 shows?

    Happy trails.....watched the SO game a few years ago and it was something else....heard it called the greatest pitching performance ever, not sure how that can even be determined but it was amazing to watch.

    I think Cohen or Darling or maybe it was Hernandez described Baxter as the perfect bench player......he certainly is doing a job very well.

    Is it just me or does IL play seem to be very early this year? interesting thought on trading opponents. surely has happened with O's and Braves maybe? or some combo of teams?

    Well, I guess 38 games in to the season and however many total at bats that is just seems crazy to me that that swing was the first all season . I should temper that by wondering how many 3-0 counts there have been.

    I read or heard that when Duda took a hack at a 3-0 pitch the other night(Brewers?) it was the first time this season that a Mets player did that. That just kind of stunned me and still does. That comes form the top?, hitting coach? apologies if this was talked about elsewhere.

    Gotta say that I love Howie and Josh, their chemistry is effortless. I got to my car today as Wright was on deck in the 8th. It just so happened that a little bird entered the booth right then and couldn't get out, then the banter started back and forth between Howie and Josh at the birds expense. It was great stuff punctuated by Josh telling Howie that he was going to try and guide the bird out in case he impeded Howie's call of Wright putting the Mets ahead, and of course Wright with the big hit and Howie with the great call that apparently frightened the bird out of the booth. Like I said it was all so easy, Howie sounds very comfortable and Josh fits right in.

    I really don't see a viable alternative to Frank right now, several of these guys throw hard and shit, need more than that though. Acosta can get her up there in the mid 90's and gets slapped around easily. Frank needs to get that breaking stuff working .
