Yeah, nothing against Carlin, great for him for making it ....wasn't he a studio gofer for WFAN before SNY? Plus, Oleda gave us that great article in the NYT last season.

Well, it was named after a dick.

Foget filling in for Ojeda, I want him sitting next to him.

I think he was caught out pretty badly with his reasoning for keeping Piazza out of the HOF, his numbers just didn't add up did they?

Are you sure it's not "Downton" Andrew Brown?

IIRC then my early memory of Scott is him having his brother Jerry's Reds bag when he first joined the Mets.

He will be a platoon outfielder?, at this price?? By Bruce Levine | ESPNChicago.com The Chicago Cubs have signed free agent outfielder Scott Hairston to a two-year contract worth up to $6 million, according to a source with knowledge of the negotiations. Hairston will fit into the Cubs' mix as a platoon corner outfielder. The other teams that had been talking to Hairston's agent, Casey Close, are the New York Mets, New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves, according to the source. The 32-year-old Hairston's deal includes incentive clauses that could increase the value to $6 million, pending a physical. Hairston played for the Mets in 2012, putting up his best power numbers. The outfielder had 48 extra-base hits, including a career-high 20 home runs, in just 377 at-bats. Hairston made $1.1 million last season before becoming a free agent for the first time in his career. He most likely will platoon with left-handed hitters Nate Schierholtz in right field and David DeJesus in center.

Who is the ML pitcher

Zach Lutz - the white Andres Torres

One plan holder told Adam Rubin that his $36 dollar Promenade Gold seat would cost him $799 for the All-Star weekend events, which include the Home Run Derby, Futures Game, and celebrity softball game along with the All-Star contest itself. Metspolice.com had prices ranging from $453 for Section 538, the furthest section from the action out in left field, to $821 for a Caesar's Club ticket, which is roughly equivalent to Shea Stadium's Mezzanine. Geez, we know fans get priced out of these things but this really brings it home.....

That's gold from LWFS...........pear shaped works in so many ways here, I mean, his head is actually shaped like a pear for one.....

Pedro never did play for the MFYs right?

"@Mets: The #Mets have signed LHP Pedro Feliciano to a minor league contract with an invitation to major league Spring Training." "@Mets: After missing the last 2 years, Feliciano had a 1.23 ERA in 7 relief games in Puerto Rican Winter League this season."

There can't be too many days like this when the games loses two giants. RIP.
