Damn that was a great throw by Ledee, probably not a great play by Alou but he got tagged.

Yeah, some terrible defence by DR.

Yeah Willets the rivalry between these two, it's not that they just mentioned it twice or even ten times it's about four times an inning, still a good game and it beats watching spring training games, and kinda cool to hear Gary Thorne doing a game. yeah the fans are great.

Beltran is having a fine WBC, I wish the announcers would stop talking about how great this rivalry is, I mean they have talked about it all game, and Soriano is showing what a terrible glove he has.

You know that this might be the last time we ever see Clemens pitch, it couild be his last game EVER....

Yeah but Trammell never dived into the stands for no reason and he was never called ' Mr November'......

Well the last question is just dumb, nothing they can do with that now, what's done is done, Bonds was a great player before steroids and then a monster of a player when taken them, he really is a sure fire Hall of Famer.

Does anyone really think he is a sure Hall of Fame player, even setting aside my feelings about him and the yankees I just don't think he is that special.....here is a paragraph from Todd Jones who is writing a column for the Detroit Free Press... ] PHOENIX -- After Team USA players flew in for the World Baseball Classic, we all met in this room at the Ritz-Carlton. As guys stood and introduced themselves, you started to wrap your head around this concept: On Team USA, there are four locks for Cooperstown -- Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr. and Roger Clemens. http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060310/SPORTS02/603100349/1050

WOW,good stuff, it's understanable why he would be so conflicted.

I have said it before but I will say it again, Rick Sutcliffe is the most annoying colour guy in baseball, in his world everyone is a great guy,he was just now talking aobut what a great guy Jeter is, and Griffey....I really hate hearing him.

To be honest I have enjoyed this thing more than I tought I would, I think in 10 to 20 years this could be a huge event with some tweaking, bold prediction, Ireland to win WBC in 2018.

So true Yancy, Mexico is pounding Canada.

How many times do we have to hear a TV announcer when talking about Clemens say "this might be his last ever start", who freaking cares.

You're right Nymr83, but I think baseball Ireland won't let you play for them unless you are a citizen, of course getting that is not that hard.

You mean Diddy of course, who the hell would want that, although the money goes to a good cause.

]I'm hoping there's an Irish team for the next WBC and I can qualify under the great-grandchild clause. I mean I'd totally suck, but it would be fun. You'll have to become a citizen I think.

My two boys are still at Hagerstown, or at least I think they are.http://www.hagerstownsuns.com/roster.html?player=1112988692

Yeah, but that's not Wright, I know who it is, just wondering what names would get thrown out when I asked who it is.

Bobby Valentine should have been the manager.

no it's not just you..... who's this?....

Oh I would love to see that.....

This should be interesting, I wonder if Adam Rubin will feature....he should I would think. ] New Major League team hits town City's best sports staff coming to TV A news Major League league sports team is coming to New York. Any chance we see him this season, would Omar be tempted if the Mets got an injury to an outfield player?

Wel I don't wish injury on any player but if the US won and this thing got a great buzz which some of these early games have then that would make Steinfecker look even more like the wanker he is.

All of Italy is up late watching this, thanks for the link Rotblatt.
