    Mets right-hander Max Scherzer will have his next start pushed back to Wednesday due to lingering shoulder soreness. Scherzer had been scheduled to pitch on Sunday. He noted that he had imaging done on the area below his scapula and said he isn't dealing with a serious issue. Since the Mets are already utilizing an extra starter this week, Scherzer said it would be “selfish” of him to take his turn if he wasn't at 100 percent.     Anyone on Verizon still getting free MLB Extra Innings? The preview supposedly expired like a good week ago. Last year I did a monthly subscription on Prime for $24.99/month but haven't renewed yet because getting it free for now. The Prime subscription is actually better because you can watch prior games which isn't an option on the standard MLB Extra Innings on Verizon.
