Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 That's .943 OPS Marcel Ozuna riding the pine in favor of .532 OPS Ichiro Suzuki.Mets, don't let that opportunity pass you by.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 Uh, this lineup lacks a certain amount of Dudaosity.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 No Conforto. That's 4 days (including the off-day) since being hit on the hand or 4/10th of a DL stint. If he was getting better it would one thing but Terry said that it's getting worse so DL him and add a body. Why play down a player?
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 The Mets are still learning how to use the 10 day DL.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 When did Collins say that Conforto's condition was getting worse?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 THIS IS NOT WHY WE INVENTED REPLAY!!!! # toofuckinglong #toofuckingclose
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Really pounding the crap out of the ball this inning, ain't we? ... two IF hits, followed by a bloop, and now a solid RBI hit
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Bruce has run more in these three innings than I have in the last three years.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Gary drawing a blank on Ronnie's Terence Trent D'Arby reference.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 I remember a mock ad for a Terrance Trent Barbie doll -- Wishing Well sold separately.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Cool, they get on the board with a solo homer, and Lugo just continues on unabated. Very Bartolovian.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Cabrera's cooling off. Time to insert him at catcher without warning him.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 The Phillies have an off-day while the Mets play tonight in Miami. Does the CBA fix such inequities?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) That coming-across-the-bag DP just turned was exactly the type that Murphy failed to turn (he never got it out of his glove) which continued the Cubs 9th inning which led to them scoringtwice and stealing the game earlier today. Does the CBA fix such inequities?Nah, there are always going to be those situations. It's tough enough to make the schedule without then having to synch-up mutual off days. The only thing I know that will kick in next year is a requirement that get-away games be day games if the team getting out of town has to cross more than one time zone.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 R. Rivera guns out Dee Gordon stealing. Close but he was out.Not sure why Mattingly didn't challenge it anyway. He gets six challenges per game, right?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Stanton, it wouldn't kill you to slide.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Man, we should have a lefty pitching to Bour.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 We need some tack-on. Lots.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Leadoff triples following shaky defensive innings will get you to heaven Matt.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 That's. WRAP for Reynolds! Foiled again! Oh Suzyn...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Short bench tonight ... I would have left Zimmo in to face the LHP
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Nice running by Reynolds ... first on the decision to go 2nd to 3rd and then 3rd to home.Neither one was a gimme.
