The Mets' intrasquad scrimmage went down today. Team Blue (who I bet big on) defeated Team Orange, 4-3. Juan Lagares went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and a stolen base. Homers were also hit by Dilson Herrera and T.J. Rivera. Unfortunately, as the case usually is in these situations, all three homers were given up by Mets pitchers. Scrimmages have a way of evening things out.

Logan Verrett and Josh Smoker both tossed two scoreless innings. Wilmer Flores was scratched due to illness.
