Grown son accompanies cantankerous hard - drinking dad on a road trip from Montana to Nebraska. Hijinks ensue!

I liked some of the scenes in the town they went to. Some of the missus' family live in small-town Plains state places like that. Dern was good but his wife annoyed me and Hader was only ok.

I didn't love it. It was well-crafted but dull.
