Haven't watched any ESPN, 'ceptin' at the pub the other night, but I've gotten highlights. No shortage of great tales.

The Chicago team that has a bunch of MLB'ers led by LaTroy Hawkins sponsoring their parents so they could make the trip.

Mo'Ne was a nice story, but maybe the SI cover jinx did her in...
1-for-9 in the LLWS and her last start 2 innings, 3 runs, 6 hits plus an error at first base.

Also, in last night's Philly-Chicago game, a kid on Philly rocketed a ball off the center field fence...on a check swing! As a father whose son just turned 11 and watches a lot of youth baseball, some of the bats these kids have now are insane.
