Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 This may be a minor concern but ought to be noted that Recker is having a pretty poor year with the old lumber, especially when you consider his strong start.I'm thinking about his future only in the sense that we may want to use these waning months to acquire and/or audition potential replacements who might come in the trade market or from the minors or wherever.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 It's hard to imagine Teagarden can't give the team as much as Wreckx-n-Effect. In fact, I'm 75% sure his injury and rehab was all a ruse to get him through a roster pinch. But I doubt they make a change before September 1 unless they acquire somebody in a Youngdump or something.Teaparty always had the same kind of puncher's power that Recker brandishes when he's going well.
