Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I love youth movements with a side of weird-old-dude excellence. It's like peanut butter and misshapen, melted-down-and-re-hardened-but-still-somehow-tasty chocolate.Truth, Ruth? We don't really have a great candidate. I could go Abreu-and-Tejada on the whoever's starting, Let's-See-How-This-Goes plan.

Sadly to end the second Eric Young gets back which could be today. We need someone who can do what Eric Young does; but we really need someone to do it better. Grandy is that guy, sorta.

Grandy is that guy, sorta.I just want someone with better than average OBP. Grandy might be our best power guy (not really a might) though so I'd prefer he bat with guys on. Maybe Abreu's the best. I have doubts about him continuing to hit, but plate discipline presumably doesn't age and maybe he's got the most experience with it and can get pitchers that haven't quite gotten warmed up to labor extra hard in the first inning.
