Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Documentary about a group of seven-year-old Brits. Same kids revisited at 14; 21; 28; 35; 42; 49 and most recently 56 (2013).These are all on Netflix to stream now. We watched all 9 in order (as you should). Not sure if the series works as the examination of the class system as intended but interesting -- not voyeuristically, really -- but as a means to reflect on your own circumstances. Not as much fun for the subjects, probably.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 I've been watching since 28 (saw 7, then skipped to 28). Saw the latest one a few weeks ago on PBS. I like them but I also think that since these check-ins have been a part of these people's lives since they were 7 that they spend too much time thinking about their past appearances which makes the current ones less effective.
