- Rays jumped all over Sabathia tonight and led like 6-0 and later 10-1.
Well now it's 10-5 and the bases are loaded in the bottom of the 9th and they still have two outs to get. Yanx are just dinking and dunking them to death but they're one batter from getting the tying run to the plate. Soriano at the plate.
Rays will take over 1st place if they win it but they're trying hard not to.

- Phils lost to Detroit - that's 4-13 for Hamels
- Marlins shut out the Pirates

So we gain a half-game on the Phils, lose a half to Miami & Atlanta, and stay neutral with the Nats who we could have caught if we took the 2nd game.

Joe Maddon thought he was going to have an easy close-out but is now on his fourth pitcher of the inning.
