Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 It's a fun idea, and trivia's always a good time (I find myself "pausing" the games to see how many I can get before they start guessing). But the show itself is a little rickety as yet as entertainment, with iffy pacing and cookie-cutter-yet-shaky style. Vasgergian's not the most sure-footed host for something like this, it seems.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I thought Baumer blew the ninth innings, IIRC the question was about the 20 no hitters tossed since 2001......the Angels guy bid ten and Baumer instead of bidding eleven sat and forced Shane to name the ten he bid. Baumer was losing and needed Shane to miss one to win, he could have named the eleven I thought, of course Shane probably would have upped his bid again......as it was he rattled of the ten with ease.

(like perhaps saying Gallaraga?) But that bid seems too low, and this category also seems less prone to making a mistake.
