I don't think it's worth the effort of trying to find another LOOGY, who's basically going to be either slightly worse or slightly better than Byrdak for slight more or less money.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I certainly don't think there's any intention to "unload" Beato.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 easy come, easy go with these loogies.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Certainly. But good relieving has been hard enough to come by that I think he's certainly earned a look. And I'd never have said so even a month ago. He may have found something. Anytuck, I'm going to be watching him the rest of the way. He and Duda have been two of the only Mets worth watching the last two weeks.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Some speculation about him being made into a starter as well.I think the Bison thing is just that they are allowed to send him down next year if the situation warrants where they could not do that this year without losing him.
