1. Mets I'm no Mets fan, but I have always loved this logo: the distinctive dark skyline, the white bridge symbolizing the five boroughs, the classic Mets script, the terrific color scheme of orange and blue. My only suggestion: Mr. Met should have it tattooed around his whole head.

It might be the best logo in pro sports, beautifully representing the city and baseball.

It's not a bad list, though he ranks the ugly MFY logo about 25 spots higher than it deserves.

Not that Caple's aesthetic taste (like his consistently enjoyable columns) is unappreciated here, but something about the "I'm no Mets fan" was a little offputting.

"I'm no child molester, but nothing gets me going at a sporting event like that Gary Glitter song!" Jim, baby, nothing wrong with being a Mets fan.

Oh, and it is the greatest logo in baseball. I've never bothered to check the other 29 but have always known it.
