Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 I didn't (and don't) listen to Kay/LaG but I can only imagine that their "logic" went something along the lines that, because Reyes is fast, he can only be successful as a slappy/bunty type hitter therefore he must hit lead-off because that's the only way he can use his speed and be "dynamic".I half expect that sort of stuff from Kay who either actually believes it or is just so totally ignorant of NL ball that he just assumes it.But if LaGreca is supposedly a Met fan and is none-the-less towing that same barge then he should simply be ruled too stupid to make his living behind a microphone.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Fatcessa was doing a NFL draft show so I had to listen to those 2 retards yesterday (I typed the above message while I was listening to them). It's as if neither of them had ever seen Reyes play before (or Castillo or Pagan for that matter), I mean, they had no idea.
