We had a more bullets flying this month than a Sam Peckinpah film, leaving us with 35 nominees. That's too much to sort through as a voter, but if Highlander has taught me anything, there can only be one. So I'm dividing these guys into five threads of seven. Anybody who garners a vote will advance.

Please vote for the coolest bullet below.

He's probably kidding. And if he ever does get a divorce, I'm sure it will be so that he can marry Nathan Lane.

The problem is that, while she's certainly much mourned in my heart, I'd hear those words coming out of fans' mouths regarding Shea as well, or I'd read them online every day.

I think the columnists are going to play to the Met fan's inner grouch by treating Shea more or less like they treated Darryl Strawberry --- little good to say about him while he was here, much to lament about him when he left.

Isn't that what Brian McNamee claims?
but even then he wanted to call all the shots.

Many worthy candidates. But that Jeter line still cracks me up.

OK, I've kept my trap shut for a good long while, but I can't take it anymore.

1. How the fuck do you nominate for these?
2. Hello? Over here?

There's an exclamation point towards the bottom-right of each post.
Essentially it's put there by the folks who invent the system to "report" a post to the admins: ie, tell on someone for using bad language, mean insults, etc.
But since we don't have any rules here we use it to nominate 'bullet of cool' posts. Just click on that icon and mention BOC in the menu that comes up as the reason why you're reporting that particular post.
