metirish Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 (edited) Who were the best of the best at each position for the Mets during the Noughties? With fairness in mind I have listed all players to play the position with help from the UMDB. There is a 25 player limit for polling but catcher came under that. Please vote for two, starter and backup. Edited December 13, 2009 by Guest
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 You've got Ramon Castro there twice.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 The problem with voting for a starter and backup is that it looks llike they get equal scoring. There's b big gap between my first string and my second string.

Guest Vince Coleman Firecracker Guests Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I think second place is a toss-up between Castro and LoDuca, but I'll go with Ramon.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Piazza and LoDuca seem like pretty obvious choices.
